Alpine House Bed and Breakfast, Redcar

  • Friendly
  • Clean
  • Hearty Full English Breakfast
  • Reasonably Priced
  • Welcome contractors, holiday makers and guests of all kinds

Alpine House bed and breakfast in Redcar is a friendly, happy, clean and reasonably priced establishment, and we offer a hearty full English breakfast which is included in the price of all our rooms. The produce is only from local butchers and farms around the area.

We are situated very close to the sea front in Redcar, North Yorkshire and are in a very convenient location near the town centre and all amenities, as well as being close to the North Yorkshire Moors. Whitby is less than an hour away by car! Redcar is also a short distance away from the larger town of Middlesbrough, and neighbours saltburn-by-the-sea.

We also welcome contractors, as ICI Wilton and the Teesside Power Station are only a 10 minute drive away. Furthermore the Corus Steel works is just 3 to 4 miles away by road.

This gracious Victorian town house was totally renovated in 2009, offering seven individual bedrooms, each with a warm and inviting atmosphere. We have recently refurbished the bed and breakfast to a high standard, providing you with lovely comfortable rooms.

Sitting in the shadows of the Cleveland Hills and Roseberry Topping, Redcar hit the big screen in 2006 when it became Dunkirk for the film adaptation of World War 2 novel Atonement, and is also home to Redcar Bears Premier League Speedway team.

open quotes A Gem of a find...

...There were five of us who stayed overnight having had a day at Redcar races. We arrived earlier than planned but this was not a problem. We were able to leave our bags and obtain a key. The rooms were lovely, spotlessly clean, crisp fragrant bedding and close quotes pleasant decor. The facilities were shared but that wasn't a problem to us at all for one night. Breakfast the following morning was to die for. Beautifully cooked and plenty of good quality wholesome, locally sourced food. Excellent!
